Strong as an Oak
The oak tree is a symbol of our Church. A magnificient specimen of an oak tree stands in our front yard. It has been firmly planted in this community for decades and is a landmark. It has provided shade, comfort, and beauty for countless people. That is a splendid image for St. Mark United Methodist Church, a firmly established landmark stongly standing in the community. It is a place where folks can be refreshed for their Christian journey.
We serve the Rocky Hill community of West Knoxville, the city, and Knox county. Our goal is to provide a place where individuals can seek and grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ through worship, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. We reach out to others in friendship and mission to our neighbors, our community, and the nation.
We are look forward to seeing you on Sunday mornings for Early Worship, Traditional Worship, or Wednesday evening fellowship. All of our current activities are on the Church
Calendar. You can find newsletters, policies, lectionaries, and links to other information sources
elsewhere. You are invited to come and grow with us!
